What is a blocklist check?

Email blocklists (DNSBLs) are anti-spam lists that mail servers consult before accepting a message. If your IP is listed, your email may be rejected or sent to spam — common after a malware infection, a misconfigured mail server, or inheriting a "dirty" IP. Entering an IP here checks it live against several reputable DNSBLs (SpamCop, Barracuda, UCEPROTECT and more).

Threat-intelligence lists are a different thing: curated feeds of domains and IPs observed serving malware, phishing, or spam. A hit on several at once is worth investigating before you trust a host. A single listing isn't a verdict — feeds lag, and shared hosting means an innocent domain can share an IP with a bad one. New here: Is my IP blacklisted? DNS blocklists explained.
