What is a blocklist check?
Threat-intelligence blocklists are curated feeds of domains and IPs that have been observed serving malware, hosting phishing pages, or sending spam. Mail servers, DNS resolvers, and browsers consult them to decide whether to trust a host. A listing doesn't always mean the target is currently dangerous — feeds can lag, and shared hosting means an innocent domain may share an IP with a bad one. But a hit on several feeds at once is a strong signal worth investigating before you click through.
